Directly after the August MobilGas Cars & Coffee, they rallied everyone around to hold their first Annual Poker Run! Had quite a few pre-registered participants, a good turnout for the first annual event!
The Route was set to go from the Cars & Coffee location in Plymouth out to the Breman VFW, cut back west to the Walkerton, IN Historical Museum, then head down north to Culver, IN, ending back in the Plymouth area at the Swan Lake Resort Chophouse. In total, it was about 2 hours of driving and participants stopped in various locations to eat lunch, making it about a 3.5-hour total trip.
At each stop, you would collect a stamp and at the end would be able to draw your poker hand. The highest hand won half the pot, other half went directly into scholarships for future tradesmen!
On top of the cash prizes, there were tons of great prizes that were given out at the raffle. It did get a little wet at the end of the run, but spirits remained high and everyone who joined in had a great time.
